"In loving memory,of David my very dear elder & only brother,we as brother & sister dear Dave,closest in age,only 2yrs 6months between our ages,we had some great adventures together,from mishaps!which were many,from me swallowing our dear Dad's watch chain as a toddler(I think it was his Southern Railway,watchchain,as he was a fireman)we also with got stuck up to our chests in muddy bog at Millers Pond,Spring Rd,Sholing,when we were aged approx.7 & 10yrs.sinking fast & yelling for help,a kindly man,luckily heard us & yanked us out!I don't think our Mum was probably too happy to see the mess we arrived home in at our the home,58,Archery Grove,Woolston about 5mins.away!we did have some fun on your homemade (Trolley's or Boxcarts)with string as steering made from wooden planks & old pram wheels,very dodgy breaks,we would often (me I may add pushing you up Wright's Hill under much protest!I was only tiny)then come tearing back down a steep bendy Wright's Hill around outskirts of Mayfield Park Copse,thankfully ofcourse in the 1950's it was not busy like today! Mum would have had kittens,if she'd known!or dashing down hill on the trolley down Archery Grove Hill,also Andie only 3yrs.old tearing down feet in air giggling on her triycle,with NO breaks!as teenagers,we would go out as a foursome with my boyfriend & your girlfriends,of which there were many,to the Mecca Pier, or Top Rank dancing,sometimes discos,one occasion atleast we went as foursome to Bournemouth discos in my boyfriend's car,we did have fun Dave,lovely memmories,when we were older I'd sometimes go painting with you in countryside! I remember once riding my motorbike with you pillion on back,you were a bit apprehensive! Ha ha,cus I did like to bomb it!you suffered so much poor Dave in later years especially,it caused you so much distress,it broke all our hearts to see you suffering,we couldn't take it away!we would have if it had been possible!But now you're free,no more suffering you're mind is free of all that dreadful suffering,you're in a wonderful place,now,reunited with all our loved ones allready passed over,Nanny Jackson & her husband Walter Jackson,the Granddad we never knew,cus he died when our Dad was onlyv8yrs.old,also you may have met up with your namesake Uncle David,Dad's baby brother who died so very young approx 21mths!so sad,Nanny & Granddad Leal,who we all loved so much too,dear Uncle Bill,who sadly passed too young at 57yrs.he taught me to swim,aged 11yrs!Dad's brother Uncle Walter,you're reunited with them all,I suspect with such beautiful places to paint to your hearts content!we have always been a very close loving family,especially us 5 siblings you Dave as eldest me Suzanne (Sue),Andrea,(Andie)Anita,(Nite) & our youngest very special sister,Michaela(Ki) we all love & miss you so much dear David,God Bless & Keep You safe always,till we meet again,Love & miss you so,much Sue,Andie,Nite,Ki,till we meet again ❤️ & from your loving nephews,Nieces,great Nieces,Great Nephews & ofcourse Mum & Dadxxxx
